Boyfriend Jeans

During the summer months wearing trousers is generally big 'No' for me but ever since the boyfriend jeans trend came back to life I've changed my mind. They are loose fitting which makes them much more comfortable than the average pair of skinny jeans. The tip is always to wear them rolled up at the bottom to show your ankles a little bit, giving it a summery feel.

Durante os meses de verão não costumo usar calças, porém desde que a tendência de 'boyfriend' jeans voltou, tive que aderir. Este modelo de calças é bastante mais confortável pelo facto de serem mais largas e leves. Uma dica é de sempre usá-las com a bainha ligeiramente dobrada, assim deixa um look descontraído e com ar de verão.

Green Park

After taking a break from blogging I'm back to posting! I'm back in Lisbon to spend a couple more days and later this week heading to the Alentejo to enjoy the rest of my holidays with friends, can't wait! 
I absolutely loved my time in England, both in London and Cambridge where I studied for 2 weeks. Although I really enjoy traveling, coming back home is really great too!

Depois de uma pausa no blog, estou de volta! Já estou de volta a Lisboa até ao final da semana, depois vou para o Alentejo, aproveitar o resto das férias com os meus amigos.
Diverti-me imenso durante a minha estadia em Inglaterra, ambos em Londres e Cambridge onde estudei durante duas semanas. Embora adorar viajar, voltar para a nossa casa também é sempre bom!

London Bound

Yesterday was an amazing day spent in London with a group of friends. We tried to pack as many activities as we could into one day to make the most of it. Places we visited include: Harrods, Piccadilly Circus, Hyde Park, Bond Street and Buckingham Palace. By the end of the day I could barely walk! It was so much fun to be in London again, a city I absolutely love.

Ontem passei um dia fantástico em Londres com um grupo de amigos. Tentamos incluir o máximo número de actividades em um dia para aproveitá-lo bastante. Visitamos sítios como: a Harrods, Piccadilly Circus, Hyde Park, Bond Street e o Buckingham Palace. Ao final do dia já nem conseguia sentir os pés de tanto andar! Foi muito divertido estar em Londres mais uma vez, uma cidade que adoro.

New In: Ear Cuffs and Rings

If you follow me on instagram (@luizagrinberg) you will have seen I posted a picture of these three new additions to my accessory stash. I had been looking for ear cuffs for a while now (and was thinking of ordering some online) and was happily surprised to see that my beloved ZARA decided to make some of their own. I'm also happy to see them come out with these mid-finger rings. Can't wait to wear these around!

Blue My Mind

Some pictures taken a few days ago wearing the famous ZARA skorts! These take me right back to my first school's uniform, in which we had this type of bottoms and coincidently, it was blue too!

After some bipolarity in the weather I'm glad it seems to have warmly stabilized... bring on the beach days!

Fotografias de alguns dias atrás, usando estes famosos 'skorts' (skirt/shorts) da ZARA. Estes lembram-me imenso o uniforme da minha primeira escola, que coincidentemente, também era azul!

Depois de alguma 'bipolaridade' no tempo, ele parece estar mais estável... por isso vamos aproveitar dias de praia!

Hey everyone! You may have heard the news that Google Reader is shutting down and along with it goes Google Friend Connect. Good news is there is another extremely easy way to keep updated with your favorite blogs called Bloglovin, which most of you may have heard of.

Cabo Verde

4 days in paradise went by way too fast! I've just arrived and already feel like going back. It is in times like these that I realize how important it is to enjoy days away from your everyday routine. Being away from a computer, school, work amongst others was absolutely great and certainly very resting, although we did do some community service with local schools :) 
I just have a couple more days of school until my holidays and I can't wait for them to start so I can keep up more frequent updates! Leave me a comment below if you have any posts you would like to see around here :)

4 dias no paraíso passaram rápido demais! É em dias como estes, que me apercebo da importância de viajar e descansar um pouco da nossa rotina. Foram dias de muito descanso embora também termos ajudado numa escola primária e visitámos bairros sociais. 
Agora só me restam alguns dias de escola, mal posso esperar para as minhas férias! Embora tenha bastante trabalho para completar, as férias vão me permitir muito mais tempo para posts frequentes :)

New In - ZARA Metallic Oxfords

Hi everyone! Just came to very quickly post this amazing new find of mine from ZARA and to let you know I will be traveling for a few days to Cabo Verde! I've been very excited about this trip for months  because i'll be going with two of my closest friends. I'm of course taking my camera and will try my best to frequently update :)

Tangerine Chic

Today's look is a little more polished, I just couldn't help making this a more formal look due to the cut and form of this amazing tangerine-colored jacket. Here you can spot another one of my favorites... chunky pearl necklace from ZARA. After purchasing the one from this post, I couldn't resist getting this one too! 
Last key piece to the look is my mother's amazing 'Salvatore Ferragamo' purse. It is just to-die-for, so elegant and me! I'm so happy I have a mother who doesn't mind sharing items :)

A look de hoje é um pouco mais formal. Tenho tendência a gostar de peças mais clássicas, e devido ao corte deste novo casaco da ZARA, não pude evitar um look mais composto.
Estou a usar uma nova peça favorita entre os meus acessórios... colares de pérolas grandes. Depois de ter adorado o deste post, não resisti a comprar este também.
Uma outra peça importantíssima deste look, é esta mala 'Salvatore Ferragamo' da minha Mãe. Muito elegante e versátil!

Put on Your Summer Jacket

Florals for spring/summer? Groundbreaking. As my beloved Miranda Priesly (from Devil Wears Prada- for those who didn't get the reference) would have put it. However, reality is, floral blazers have been all over, and I love them. I think it provides jackets with a lighter twist, enabling them to perfectly transition for those windier summer nights. Here is my selection from two of my favorite stores- TOPSHOP (1st picture) and ZARA (2nd + 3rd picture).

É certo que estampas florais para o verão não são a coisa mais inovadora possível, porém na maioria das vezes um clássico nunca sai de moda. Eu adoro este tipo de casacos, acho que a estampa floral da um ar mais leve, o que os deixa muito adequados para aquelas noites mais ventosas de verão. Aqui está a minha selecção de alguns dos meus preferidos, das lojas TOPSHOP (primeira fotografia) e ZARA (segunda e terceira fotografia).

Floral Dress to Celebrate

Finally the warmer weather seems to have stabilized around the Lisbon area and I can finally start pulling my dresses out of my wardrobe! Exam season is over... at least for this year, which means more time available for frequent updates :)
Also, how amazing are these cat-eye sunglasses from 'Zero-Uv' as soon as I received them I fell in love! They have such a simple, but retro-chic to vibe to them.

Finalmente temos um tempo mais agradável, o que quer dizer que posso deixar de lado as calças e começar a usar mais vestidos! Outra boa noticia é o facto de já ter acabado os exames... embora ainda tenha 1 mês de aulas. Mesmo assim, quer dizer que vou ter mais tempo para dedicar a posts :)
Estou apaixonada por estes óculos cat-eye que recebi da 'Zero-Uv'! São simples mas ao mesmo tempo dão um toque muito 'retro-chic'.
