Phillip Lim - Target's New Guest Designer

Over the years, Target has had various collaborations with respectful designers but this year, they have really outdone themselves! They collaborated with Prabal Gurung in spring and now Philip Lim is going to debut his collection on the September 15th.

The collection is set to be around 100 pieces and the prices will be under $50. There will be clothing, bags, shoes and travel accessories all in the style of the much acclaimed designer. Target promises us "a classic fall palette of neutral tones with a mix of basic prints".

Although the images of the collection won't be available until the summer, the company has released a teaser of collection. 

Personally I cannot wait to see the collection, I know that Philip Lim is a wonderful designer and anything he comes up with, will be to die for!

Com o passar dos anos a Target já colaborou com vários designers conceituados e este ano não foi nenhuma excepção. Eles já colaboraram com o Prabal Gurung na primavera deste ano e agora com o Philip Lim, lançarão a nova colecção no dia 15 de Setembro.

Free People May 2013 Catalog

How gorgeous are these pictures?! I just find them so incredibly captivating... maybe because the scenery brings me back good memories, but overall I think the May campaign for Free People is just so fresh, relaxed and amazing! Makes me wish I was there right now with a group of friends too... and not studying for finals... joy.

Adorei a campanha de Maio da loja Free People. Gostei tanto que senti que tinha de vos mostrar! A escolha de scenario não podia ter sido mais adequada, pois o estilo de roupa da Free People encaixa perfeitamente com a atitude descontraída que se encontra no Rio de Janeiro. Que saudades de lá estar :)

My Birthday in Pictures!

Hey everyone! As yesterday was my birthday (17 wohooo... I'm seriously getting old!) I had absolutely zero time to shoot any looks, however I obviously took many pictures along the way to document and share with you the amazing day I had :)
I want to thank everyone so much for making this an absolutely incredible day and to say that I couldn't be more fortunate with the friends and family I have, who made it so special!

Pantone Color of the Year: Emerald

Hey all! Apologies for the lack of posts this week... school life has taken away a lot of my free time lately! Today I was finally able to shoot again in this windy afternoon which quickly ruined the curls I attempted to hold with tons of hairspray :)
This outfit was dedicated to the Pantone Colour of the Year of 2013: EMERALD. I'm sure most of you have heard of Pantone as they release a new color every year plus a lot of merchandizing... if you don't know what I'm talking about click here to learn more!

Olá a todos! Peço desculpas pela falta de looks esta semana... a vida de estudante não tem sido fácil! Hoje finalmente consegui fazer algumas fotografias nesta tarde muito ventosa, que rapidamente estragou os meus caracóis no cabelo que tentei aguentar com quilos de spray :)
Este look de hoje foi dedicado à cor do ano definida pela Pantone: ESMERALDA. Provavelmente muitos já ouviram falar desta companhia que anualmente define qual será a cor de destaque de cada ano. Leiam mais sobre a Pantone aqui.

Glasses and Cameras

How awesome is this little camera bag from the shop 'New Order' and these patterned green trousers?! I've had this bag for years and always find myself wearing it in occasions where only the essentials (aka: phone) is needed as not too much fits in it. I find it super adorable!
The other standout item in this look are my green trousers from 'ZARA'. These are the definition of a 'lucky find'! When these were out in their summer collection of '12, I remember thinking they were interesting, but wasn't too invested in buying them. After a few weeks I kept thinking back to them and decided to get them, only to find out they were already sold out everywhere. I ended up forgetting about them for a while, but it was when the post-christmas shopping sales came along that they re-appeared on the racks and by sheer luck there was only one pair of them and in my size! We were destined to be together haha :)

O que acham desta malinha de máquina fotográfica da loja 'New Order' e destas calças verdes estampadas?!
Já tenho esta mala há alguns anos e acabo por usá-la mais frequentemente em ocasiões onde somente o necessário (o meu telemóvel) é preciso porque devido ao seu pequeno tamanho não cabe lá muita coisa.
A segunda peça de destaque deste look são as minhas calças verdes da 'ZARA'. Estas calças foram realmente uma história de sorte. Quando estas estavam à venda na colecção de verão de '12, lembro-me de ter gostado, mas não o suficiente para comprá-las. Depois de algumas semanas em que pensei varias vezes sobre elas, decidi comprá-las, porém fiquei logo desapontada em saber que já estavam esgotadas em todas as lojas. Esqueci-me delas durante um tempo, mas foi durante os saldos após o natal que as vi penduradas, e por muita sorte só haviam umas e no meu número! Era mesmo para ser minha :)

Coachella Weekend

Hey everyone! As most of you must know this weekend there was the Coachella Music festival in Palm Springs. This is a festival which attracts people, including celebrities from all over the world to attend the amazing shows, plus to show off some amazing style. 
If I could describe the style that dominates this event in three words I would say it is a mixture between: vintage/hippie/retro... if you get the image I'm trying to explain... :)

Olá a todos! Como muitos de vocês devem saber, neste fim de semana aconteceu o festival de musica 'Coachella' em Palm Springs, CA. Este festival atrai pessoas, incluindo celebridades, do todo o mundo para acompanhar os shows muito animados e mostrarem muito estilo
Eu diria que o estilo que domina este evento é uma mistura entre vintage/hippie e retro (como poderão perceber nas fotografias abaixo)... :)
