ZARA Fall/Winter '13 Campaign

If you have found yourself going into ZARA lately, you will most likely have spotted this year's fall/winter theme... PUNK. ZARA has hit the mark right on point and exceeded all my expectations for this new collection. I'm absolutely in love with so many of their new pieces and can't wait to do some great back to school shopping. I'm also very pleased to see tartan and this old-school british feel come back to incorporate grungy looks. Fall/winter fashion tip: don't be afraid to mix up patterns. As you can see floral and checkered print have been making a huge appearance everywhere.

New In: Ear Cuffs and Rings

If you follow me on instagram (@luizagrinberg) you will have seen I posted a picture of these three new additions to my accessory stash. I had been looking for ear cuffs for a while now (and was thinking of ordering some online) and was happily surprised to see that my beloved ZARA decided to make some of their own. I'm also happy to see them come out with these mid-finger rings. Can't wait to wear these around!

Phillip Lim - Target's New Guest Designer

Over the years, Target has had various collaborations with respectful designers but this year, they have really outdone themselves! They collaborated with Prabal Gurung in spring and now Philip Lim is going to debut his collection on the September 15th.

The collection is set to be around 100 pieces and the prices will be under $50. There will be clothing, bags, shoes and travel accessories all in the style of the much acclaimed designer. Target promises us "a classic fall palette of neutral tones with a mix of basic prints".

Although the images of the collection won't be available until the summer, the company has released a teaser of collection. 

Personally I cannot wait to see the collection, I know that Philip Lim is a wonderful designer and anything he comes up with, will be to die for!

Com o passar dos anos a Target já colaborou com vários designers conceituados e este ano não foi nenhuma excepção. Eles já colaboraram com o Prabal Gurung na primavera deste ano e agora com o Philip Lim, lançarão a nova colecção no dia 15 de Setembro.

Free People May 2013 Catalog

How gorgeous are these pictures?! I just find them so incredibly captivating... maybe because the scenery brings me back good memories, but overall I think the May campaign for Free People is just so fresh, relaxed and amazing! Makes me wish I was there right now with a group of friends too... and not studying for finals... joy.

Adorei a campanha de Maio da loja Free People. Gostei tanto que senti que tinha de vos mostrar! A escolha de scenario não podia ter sido mais adequada, pois o estilo de roupa da Free People encaixa perfeitamente com a atitude descontraída que se encontra no Rio de Janeiro. Que saudades de lá estar :)

Coachella Weekend

Hey everyone! As most of you must know this weekend there was the Coachella Music festival in Palm Springs. This is a festival which attracts people, including celebrities from all over the world to attend the amazing shows, plus to show off some amazing style. 
If I could describe the style that dominates this event in three words I would say it is a mixture between: vintage/hippie/retro... if you get the image I'm trying to explain... :)

Spring Wishlist

SPRING TIME. Here are some items I put together which I would absolutely love to own for the spring/summer time. During the warmer months, I find myself gravitating towards more colorful, floral, looser-fitting pieces as it just makes me feel summery, light and livelier.

Hey everyone! Here is a quick recap of the most noticeable trends spotted at São Paulo Fashion week (took place from 18-22 of March), which I thought would be relevant as I'm in São Paulo and because these are all projections of what is coming for our European summer.

Model of the Moment: Cara Delevingne

Cara Delevingne is without a shadow of doubt the model of the moment. By the young age of 20 she has already graced the cover of UK vogue, walked the runway for some of the most influential names of the fashion industry such as; Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, amongst many other accomplishments.
I own the March issue of british vogue she was in and have to say was very impressed with both the pictures and the interview which accompanied it. I can tell she's a very quirky, edgy girl with great attitude and personality, but that also manages to bring an incredible amount of elegance into her campaigns.

Cara Delevingne é definitivamente a modelo do momento. Com apenas 20 anos, Cara ja foi capa da Vogue Inglesa, desfilou para alguns dos nomes mais potentes da indústria como; Chanel, Louis Vuitton e Burberry, entre muitas mais.
Eu tenho esta edição Vogue Inglesa de Março e adorei-a. Fiquei muito surpreendida com ambas as fotografias e a entrevista que acompanhava. Consegue se perceber que ela é uma jovem muito divertida e cheia de atitude, mas que também é capaz de trazer muita elegância aos seus trabalhos.

My Statement Necklace Collection

Statement necklaces are my thing! Whenever I walk into a shop I instantly find myself being drawn to the accessories department to check out their newest additions to their necklace collections. I think this type of necklace manages to enhance any outfit and jazz up the plainest of looks. One trick I always find myself using is; whenever I'm not in the mood to come to peace with my wardrobe and put on a very well thought of look, I put on some jeans, a plain shirt and one of these statement necklaces. It shows you made an effort but at the same time still keeps it laid-back :)

Adoro maxi-colares, sempre que entro em qualquer loja percebo que a minha atenção é constantemente direccionada para a área dos acessórios, mais especificamente, dos colares. Na minha opinião este estilo de colares têm a capacidade de realçar qualquer look e também ser o protagonista dos looks mais simples. Um truque pelo qual eu várias vezes opto é o seguinte; quando não estou num dia muito inspirado para pensar em combinações muito especiais, simplesmente escolho uns jeans, uma t-shirt lisa e depois escolho um destes colares. Isto expõe uma boa imagem mas ao mesmo tempo mantendo o conjunto descontraído :)

Ombré Blossoms

I recently saw these amazing necklaces on the website ETSY. I immediately remembered I had already spotted them on Chiara Ferragni- Blogger of 'The Blonde Salad'. I personally think they look amazing and something I would love to wear during the summer months. Recentemente encontrei estes colares no website de accessórios  ETSY. Imediatamente lembrei-me que já os tinha visto na blogger Chiara Ferragni- 'The Blonde Salad'.  Acho estes colares lindíssimos e cheios de cores alegres. Siren London

I recently discovered this new store called- 'Siren London'.  I'm in love with their huge variety of both clothing and accessory pieces ( as seen on the first picture- my favorite jewelry piece has to be the shoulder chain for sure! ) You should definitely go check it out by clicking on the side banner of the blog :)

Recentemente descobri uma nova loja virtual chamada- 'Siren London' . Adorei a grande variedade de peças de roupa e os acessórios que ela tem a oferecer. A minha peça preferida quando se trata de acessórios tem de ser a corrente usada no ombro, como podem ver na primeira fotografia. Vale a pena visitarem o site da loja, é só carregarem no cartaz do lado esquerdo do blog :)

Pull and Bear Lookbook

I just found these pictures on the Pull and Bear website  and they are from their new lookbook! I think they are AMAZING! I think the clothes just scream modernism and couldn't be more on point for the next season (which includes lots of black and white, linear patterns, asian inspired bomber jackets, animal face prints on sweaters...). I can't wait to visit their store to check out some of these pieces. Congratulations to Pull and Bear for making a huge leap in their clothing style :)

Acabei de encontrar estas fotografias no site da Pull and Bear, elas pertencem ao lookbook da campanha da nova temporada. Fiquei muitíssimo admirada com a colecção e acho que as roupas estão extremamente modernizadas, encaixam perfeitamente com o estilo da próxima estação (que contém muitas conjugações preto e branco, muitos padrões lineares, casacos com um estilo 'asian inspired' e também camisolas estampadas de caras de animais). Mal posso esperar para encontrar algumas destas peças nas lojas :)

Coltrane Love

The coltrane boots have officially won me over. At first I was hesitant about this type of shoe as I thought it was a bit too chunky and couldn't imagine it fitting in with too many pieces I already own. I was having difficulty placing in my mind how I could style these boots until I found inspiration in girls from various blogs and lookbook. (examples below)
I'm in love with them now and am considering ordering a pair of the Jeffrey Campbell ones, they're definitely daring and different but I'll give them a chance :)

As botas 'coltrane' conquistaram-me. Ao principio estava indecisa em relação a este estilo de sapatos, pois achei muito pesado e demasiado ousado. Mas, à medida que comecei a investigar mais sobre elas (através de blogs e do lookbook) descobri várias maneiras divertidas de usá-las (ver abaixo).
Estou a adorá-las e a pensar em  encomendar umas da marca 'Jeffrey Campbell' para poder experimentar.

The New Miss Dior- Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence, aged 22 has really been catapulted into the spotlight recently. After starring as Katniss Everdeen in the 'Hunger Games' many new opportunities came her way, for example she recently starred in 'Silver Linnings Playbook' alongside Bradley Cooper which ended up landing her an academy award for Best Actress! 
I really admire her and her work, which is why I think the house of Dior made a great decision when it came to picking their new face. With photographer Willy Vanderperre and styling by Olivier Rizzo, the pictures came out stunning, I was very impressed!
These Miss Dior bags are schedules to be on sale by spring/summer 2013.

Jennifer Lawrence, 22 anos definitivamente é das meninas de Hollywood mais queridas do momento. Depois de protagonizar a série 'Hunger Games' como Katniss Everdeen, muitas outras oportunidades apareceram, por exemplo: ser a personagem principal de 'Silver Linning Playbook- Um Guia Para o Final Feliz' ao lado de outro actor de renome, Bradley Cooper. Foi este filme que lhe garantiu o oscar de melhor atriz.
Eu admiro-a muito e também ao seu trabalho, por isso acho que a Maison Dior tomou uma decisão muito acertada em escolhê-la para ser a nova porta-voz da marca de carteiras 'Miss Dior'. Esta campanha foi fotografáda por Willy Vanderperre e contou com o styling de Olivier Rizzo. As fotográfias ficaram muito elegantes e clássicas, adorei-as!

A nova linha de carteiras Miss Dior estará disponível para venda a partir da temporada de primavera/verão de 2013.
